چکیده
In order to analyze the evolution of inclusions in cold heading steel SWRCH35K during steelmaking process, a systematic sampling processes plant was carried out. Both SEM-EDS and image processing software Image-Pro-Plus6.0 were employed chemical composition, morphology, quantity size non-metal samples. The results show that from BOF tapping continuous casting tundish, composition changes Al2O3 → MgO·Al2O3 CaO-MgO-Al2O3-CaS, typical morphology gradually irregular blocks clusters spherical. number argon blowing station is largest, 213#/mm2, while at end LF refining least, about 12#/mm2, there are basically no above 5 μm. addition, calcium treatment will adversely affect control steel. effectively reduce large-size calcium-containing spherical oxide steel, it necessary find technical method can replace solve problem molten casting.

Inclusion Evolution during Modification of Alumina Inclusions by Calcium in Liquid Steel and Deformation during Hot Rolling Process
The production of clean steel involves the controlling, elimination, or modification of nonmetallic inclusions. In Al-killed steels, alumina is the main type of inclusion. Calcium treatment, by wire feeding, is commonly used to modify solid alumina inclusions to calcium aluminates, which exists in a fully or partially liquid phase. Liquid inclusions can improve steel castability, but make inclu...

The hot compression tests were carried on X45CrNiW189 valve steel (X45) in the temperature range of 1000– 1200 °C and the strain rate range of 0.004 – 0.5 s-1 in order to study the high temperature softening behavior of this steel. For the exact prediction of flow stress, the effective stress-effective strain curves were obtained from experiments under various conditions. On the basis of experi...
متن کاملAlumina Inclusion Behavior during Steel Deoxidation
A computational model based on classic homogenous nucleation theory, thermodynamic analysis and numerical simulation, has been developed to study steel deoxidation by aluminum in a low carbon aluminum-killed steel ladle, which calculates the nucleation and time evolution of the alumina inclusion size distribution due to Ostwald ripening, Brownian collision and turbulent collision. Starting with...

there is no doubt that human being needs to become integrated with industry and industry needs to be progressed, daily. on the other hand, serious events in industrial units specially in oil industries has been shown that such damages and events are industry related ones. the consequence of such events and damages which resulted in chemical and poisoned explosions and loss of life and property ...
Modeling of Reoxidation Inclusion Formation During Filling of Steel Castings
A reoxidation inclusion model is described that simulates the entire life cycle of inclusions during the filling of steel castings and predicts their final location in the casting. Inclusions can be released into the mold at the inlet and/or nucleate on the metal free surface, where contact with oxygen from the atmosphere creates them. Inclusion motion is calculated by solving an equation of mo...
